First Days
month day year
' When Michael and Ian were starting pre-school Kristin and I had been talking about it and how the first day was going to go.
She knew how it was going to go for her, however I was convinced I was going to be fine, that it was just another day.
I planned on heading into work after the bus picked him up. She however was not buying it, and kept insisting it was going to be harder than I thought it would be.
Fast forward to their first day, I get Michael around and get him on the bus. As the bus was pulling away, I facetimed her crying because Michael had almost forgot to give me a hug due to his excitement of starting school.
She just smiled and said "Oh sis. It'll be okay, we'll get through this together.
Call your boss, tell them you aren't making it today, come over and we'll go get some Tim Horton's". We spent the rest of the day together while we waited for them to get home." '
